American University of Caribbean (AUC)

The American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine is an international, for-profit, U.S. curriculum-based medical school with a main basic science campus in Sint Maarten and it is based in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

AUC celebrated a record number of residency placements in 2019, with 355 AUC graduates matching into positions in 40 states and 18 disciplines. Last year, in 2018, AUC’s first-time residency attainment rate was 91% for PGY-1 eligible graduates.

AUC’s medical education program and facilities are accredited by the Accreditation Commission on Colleges of Medicine.

AUC students can complete clinical rotations at nearly 20 affiliated teaching hospitals in the United States and 7 affiliated hospitals in the United Kingdom. Medical school students interested in additional international exposure can complete global health electives in the Dominican Republic, Russia, Uganda, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.

The program we offer is a PG program (MD) which is normal in the USA for doctors.

AUC offers 4 years and 5.5 year US style MD program hosted at UCLAN, Preston, UK.
